During a break my friend Shane Levin walked on set. We were shooting in Downtown Pittsburgh at SPACE gallery and this just happened to be a coincidence that he had his newborn girl with him. I had to shoot him with his baby girl.

These are from the 3rd day of shooting with Michael Karas. I must say it was a very memorable photoshoot. This is one of the photoshoots I kept coming back and looking at during the year in Rochester, NY, and grabbing inspiration.

Also this could not have been possible without the help of assistant Levi Marcus.

Juggling with Michael Karas Shoot - Studio

I spent several days with photographing with Michael Karas. Michael is an amazing juggler.

Michael went to The Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts several years before I did. He also went to Point Park University for Musical Theatre. He currently lives in New York City and travels around juggling. He has had such clients as the Discovery Channel, H&R Block, Kennywood and The Zany Umbrella Circus.

Headshot - Lisa Levinson

Here is a Headshot I shot of Lisa Levinson who is an Alexander Technique instructor in Pittsburgh, PA. Lisa also currently teaches Alexander technique at Point Park University.

Yi-Chun and I shot and assisted each other on this shoot.

Michael Novak came back for another shoot with us, and I had met Natalie Lomonte earlier that day at STREB, as you can see in my previous post. Natalie used to be in Momix, Pilobolus and was currently in Parsons Dance Company at the time of the shoot.

I was finding it quite enthralling to compose the dancer, and use the strobe to place the dancer at the right time.
