For this shoot Jim Reed, the Regional Rep of Broncolor lent Yi-Chun and I some lighting equipment. Yi and I shot I-Danse which is a really cool NYC dance company which is definitely worth checking out.

In this shoot we shot: Yung-li Chen, Hyosun Choi, Abby Geartner and McKay Montz. This was shot at the 92Y.

Here's another 2 shoots I shot with Yi-Chun.

We shot at the Newly renovated Westshore Boardwalk which were the old meatpacking railroad tacks. These then apparently were deserted for a long time. We met someone who hadn't been around there since the 70's or 80's, He said that the grass was so high there and it was so deserted that it was commonly known that dead bodies would be dropped off there and get left to rot.

But now it is a beautiful park/boardwalk overlooking the water.

This time I shot with Yi-Chun we mixed it up by shooting her Canon System instead of my Nikon, which resulted in slightly different ways of working and some workarounds for myself.

We shot Amanda McCormick in Madison Square by the Flat Iron building. 23rd and 5th is right near the studio, where I spent much of my time this summer.
